Joint Enterprise

The idea

My son who was only 15 years old at the time of the incident and has never been in trouble before was wrongly convicted for murder through using the joint enterprise law.  The stabber in the case not only denied the offence but passed the blame.  The evidence was made so confusing with each withness giving different accounts of what they saw that it was decided that it doesn't matter who committed the act because it was a joint enterprise case, How they came to that conclusion was unfair and wrong.  We did not have a fair trial my son was not at the final scene yet it was classed as a joint enterprise and he is now serving a life sentence for a crime he did not commit.  The media played a big part in sensationally  the story as gang members when in actual fact it was a school boy fight between two boys that went tragically wrong.  How long is this law going to continue in giving little value to the innocent, and instead of protecting our youths giving them  life sentence inorder to get as many convictions as possible.

Why is it important?

There are two many innocent children being wrongfully convicted.  Each person should be charged sepatrately if need be.  How could a child be serving life for the actions of someone else who lost their temper.  This is not  a game too many young lives are being wasted in the justice system this has to change!
