My experience of being under surveillance for many years

I invented a novel microscope. I proved the concept and I wrote to a government department asking for development money to make a prototype. In my letter I wrote that the device coupled to a camera mobile 'phone would make a good consume product for "Distance diagnostics". I then came under surveillance. It was an extensive affair which by the Home Offices own estimates costt much more than £2m. It ended with a polce raid at 5am. Then much cheaper electronic  surveillance was used with my e-mails and other stuff  I put on my computer being read.

A fortnight ago I was told that the staff where I go for my breakfast coffee were to told  to watch me under the provisions of RIPA. That was a disappointment because I believed the government had changed .

narrow the ambit of section 44 of the Terrorism Act

section 44 is aimed at the prevention of terorism and must not give administrative authorities, such as local councils,, the power to snoop. Remember the gentlemen ejected from the Labour Party conference a few years back and photographers prevented from phototgraphing public buildings

Outlaw safety camera vans

Rid the country of these mobile speed camera vans. They Call them safety camera vans which has to be the biggest insult in the world.

The safety camera vans in my region hide behind bushes and round corners of well know places where the flow of traffic quite safely flows above 70mph.

There is nothing safe about these vans, they provide no public service and are the EXPLICITLY to fine and point the general public. As we know the 70mph is completely out dated and these vans are ruthless with there speed settings. if you sit in a row of traffic traveling between 75 – 82 you will be stung 60 and 3 points. If you see these cawards in the bush and hit your breaks you cause an accident or at the very least cause photom traffic queues as everybody hits the breaks.

Whats more insult is this service has been out source to private contractors whose primary goal is number and revenue.

Abolish Institutional Reliance Upon Anonymous ‘Dob-ins’

I respectfully submit that the prevailing practice of reliance by our Police, Social Security Fraud Investigators, Council Benefits Fraud Investigators and many other institutions upon what are anonymously laid allegations of wrongdoing is grossly unjust and inequitable and should be abolished by the legislature.

It seems to me somewhat reminiscent of Stalinist and German National Socialist practices of yore that saw, for example, parents being falsely accused by their children, neighbours falsely accusing each other for vindictive, spiteful, or vengeful reasons, and more.

It is my further respectful submission that allegations laid on the basis of a wholly genuine belief in the accuser as to another's wrongdoing should never be actionable at law. However, where the allegation/s laid are found to be false, perhaps laid mischievously or frivolously, with malice, or with deliberate intent to cause harm to the accused party or to wilfully damage reputation, there should be absolutely no protection whatsoever given by way of withholding from the accused his accuser's identity so as to prevent the wrongly accused party from seeking a remedy at law by way of an action for protection from harassment, or in libel or slander, or by way of any other available and appropriate remedy, including, for example, a public apology.

Reward people for reporting dog fouling, fly tipping and litter bugs.

I have always said people should be rewarded for reporting dog fouling, fly tippers and litter bugs.

This coule be £100 or so.  The cost of the reward could be added to the fine.

Simple actions that would see results.
