This effects employment and can generate a stigma/prejudice around people who may have a warning or caution with employer's. We should encourage people who have not re-offended or those who may have recieved a caution under dubious circumstances, where thorough investigation was not carried out and parties may have been given a caution or warning unnessecarily.
Amend or repeal this act so that warnings and cautions which are spent or more than 5 years old do not appear on any CRB Checks. As these types of offences are not criminal records and can effect a persons employment oppotunities.
For example a troubled teenage may get a caution and then turn their life around and never offend again. Then when applying for a job encounter difficulties when a CRB may be done.
