The idea
Repeal the part of the UK Animal Welfare Legislation that prevents tail docking in traditionally docked breeds.
Why is it important?
A Study by "The Veterinary Record" shows that at the 52 Veterinary practices surveyed in 2008 & 2009 in th UK, 281 Dogs received treatment for tail injuries. It is not unreasonable to say that most of these could of been prevented if the docking ban had not been imposed.
This legislation has little to do with Welfare but allot to do with emotion.
