Freedom of Marriage for British Born Citizens

The idea

To allow genuine british citizens the right to choose who they marry regardless of their partners country of origin, and to allow that brtish citizen to remain in britain and live with their spouse without hindrance.

Why is it important?

Current legislation makes this very difficult – and it is likely to become almost impossible.  We should have the right to choose our life partners from wherever we wish and receive the support of our government and society in doing so.  I agree we may have some issues over wholesale immigration to this country – not helped by the hysteria of the far right wing – often fuelled by ignorance – but in fact real human rights are being eroded and this should be reversed.
