The idea
for speeding offenders they would have the choice of having a speed restrictor fixed onto their vehicle( at their expense) or basnnes with a test. the restricted speed could be set by a judge, depending on the excess speed and circumstances of their offence. for example an offender that was caught in excess of the speed limit on the motorway by a large margin would be banned from driving on the motorways for a period of 6 months,and have a restrictor put on their vehicle of 50mph for 6 months. thenpoolice education progrsmme doesnt work however if you have someone age 22 having to drive at 40mph affect their streest cred and status with their peers.
