The idea
To have draconian laws in regard to the use of mobiles phones whilst driving.Many drivers appear to be putting two fingers up to the law. It is a dangerous practice and it has to stop.
If caught the driver should be fined £5000,have his phone confiscated and if he/she repeats this deplorable action have their vehicle impounded and sold at auction.
Why is it important?
This is not a revenue raising law but one that dissuades motorists from being law breakers.
