Allow cotton nightdresses for children

There is a law BS 5722which forbids companies from selling girls nighties in cotton. Instead nighties are made from polyester as its flame resistent. No shops seem to sell cotton nightdresses for children.

This made sense before central heating when most families had either bar heaters or open fires, but this is now outdated, and polyester nightdresses are uncomfortable to sleep in. Further as girls dresses and skirts can be made of cotton the law seems a bit pointless.

Why is this idea important?

Declare that it is not illegal to discriminate against any kind of clothing

There has been a lot of debate about banning the Burka. Rather than doing this, which would cause an uproar, how about simply saying that it is not illegal to stop people wearing any particular item of clothing in your premises. This would stop the need for having to differentiate between a Burka and a head scarf that an old lady may be wearing, and stop people trying to get around it with technicalities.
It is ok to stop motorcycle helmets, or hoodies, but not a scarf that it not necessary with any religion, but merely a choice.

School Uniform / Indipendence

School uniforms have gone completely and utterly out of control.

In a GSCE year of school, me and my classmates are not allowed to go in lessons which are crucial to our exams and learning if we are wearing clothes made of the wrong material.

School uniforms are often hot and uncomphortable, when talking about uniforms teachers always say how smart it makes us look…Why does that matter? A school is a place of comphorted learning, in a world where theres no air conditioning in schools and broken heaters, Children should be allowed to dress appropriatley for the weather, obviously schools have the opportunity to put patronising rules into place such as no swearing etc.

We are told we are adults (or young adults) over and over again, IWe're told how we're treat like adults and given responsibility, how is forcing us into communist-type uniforms helping in any way?

Also children are asked not to come into school if they have an 'unapporopriate' hair colour…REALLY…? If someone has say…a star shaved into their head, it's not allowed and must be shaved out. If someone gets say purple streaks in their black hair…No allowed.
