The recent ban on smoking in the work place is unfair to smokers.
There must be lots of unemployed people who are smokers, who now find it even more difficult to get back into work because of this ban.
Why not allow private concerns to be exempt if all their workforce would like to be able to happily smoke while at work?
I think this would be a popular relief especially in such work environments as pubs, taxi firms, factories, railways and many more.
Why does this idea matter?
The smoking ban is very harsh to smokers. It seems very unfair especially as the passive smoking threat is to my mind so greatly exaggerated. The motives behind it I think were more driven by political agenda to 'modernise' rather than from real health risks. It was an extreme illiberal act alike to a which-hunt.
