Climate Change Act 2008 – repeal

Climate Change Act 2008 – repeal this entire act

Why does this idea matter?

Simply this costs the British people far more than any possible benefit to them. Assuming all the worst projections on Climate change this act will have zero effect either way. Developing countries have such as China and India will not and can not politically do anything except exponentially increase their CO2. So that even a 100% uk cut would not make a impact on the amount the world produces.

The idea that we should try and serve as an 'example' is ridiculous and naive and the idea that this act will be effective in increasing the viability of renewables is just wishful thinking.

Any serious climate change act would focus on monitoring and dealing with specific threats to the UK flood defense etc.
