Get out of Europe

15 Comments 20th October 2016

We should leave the EU.

Repeal the laws that have taken sovereignty away from the people and their Parliament.

All functionaries of the Eu now in our Parliament must, by law, declare an interest everytime they speak – as their penssions are conditional on the supporting the EU – and so doing down the UK.

I am very happy to trade with Europe, and to visit it – and have Europeans come here to play or to work.

The EU – with its unaccountable bureaucrcy, is a source of far too many rules and regulations – som probably sensible, if not strictly necessary; others, like bent cucumbers [I know that, finally, has been repealed] simply beyond parody.

Why does this matter?

I agree with what you are all saying my only concern is that we might find ourself’s isolated.

  8. Gary Dorrington says:

I think Europe will isolate us has we all know we are not really liked by our fellow europeans.
And any excuse is all they need, be careful what you wish for?.

  9. Barry says:

David Cameron is wrong to set hopes of a meaningful renegotiation and a referendum in 2017. There won’t be anything to vote on – under binding EU law, once powers have been handed to the EU, the loss of national sovereignty is permanent.

But we can get out and trade with the EU, which has already declared itself for free trade and cooperation with its neighbours, and the lowering of trade barriers. (source: New Alliance website)

Firstly, learn to spell. Secondly, isolationism doesn’t work, viz. the USA between the wars.

Better by far to be at the heart of Europe and change things from within, rather than stand on the sidelines and snipe at petty regulations that don’t, actually, have any effect on our day-to-day lives.

If we leave, we will be seen as being as important as Greenland. I.e., not at all.

It is a fact that the “anti’s” are usually totally misinformed and have their opinions formed by Fleet Street.

Let’s get out they tell us if we leave we will not be able to trade in the EU then let them tell us how the Chinese are flooding Europe with steel and damaging our Industry plus the £55000,000 it costs us a day I think it could better spent on services in Britain.

    OUT OUT OUT

  13. pandora says:

just get out – out of Europe and back to uk – back to Westminster – we have been brainwashed we cannot do without Europe yes we can in fact we will be so better off doing just that or will we spend the rest of our lives going off to brussels to ask if we can put up/down our tax rates, change our benefits, allow immigration, allow anyone to come here to use our nhs – no lets get back to doing our own thing making our own laws and decisions.

  14. pandora says:

as Dylan said in ramona – you.ve been forced into thinking that the finishing end is at hand – what eu rubbish – independence for uk – as we used to have – I bet Greece wld love to be in our shoes and hungary and many others – lets also close the channel tunnel – lets go wild and totally tell Europe bi bi no thanks – our forefathers fought to keep you from interfering in our affairs – you did not win the war – the allies did – we did
shall we surrender now – no thanks
